Welcome to Development Support Institute Ltd/Gte (DSI).

DSI is a Not for profit/Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to addressing the skills gap experienced by women and the youth as well as the development of human resource capital within communities; to empower Nigerian women and youths economically, politically, and socially through knowledge-based activities and programmes.

Our History

Since 2004, DSI has been committed to the mission of empowering women and youth through education and skills development. Over the years, we have implemented numerous programs and projects, with a focus on providing access to education and training for our target groups and underserved communities.

DSI is an organization borne out of the individual and shared experiences, exposure and background of its founders. Comprising mainly women, the group firmly believes that it can better address the needs of women,  youths, and the less privileged by acting in concert.

Our Programmes

Our programmes are designed to positively impact on lives of women and the youth by encouraging them to reach personal goals set by them and to actualize their dreams, to a level that is practical, realizable, and makes them financially independent.

We address the needs of women in Health (mental & physical), materially and general living conditions. At DSI, we believe this can be achieved by the acquisition of skills, knowledge, social orientation and exposure beyond the immediate challenges being faced by women and the less privileged.

We aim to build self-confidence and a high degree of economic independence in women through skill acquisition programs, seminars, workshops, information dissemination, financial and non-financial support in the promotion of a wide range of activities in any area or field in which women and youths are involved.
